Nicole Janson performed at the brand new Ruta Maya Coffee House on South Congress here in austin.
Landis, Arturo, Trent and I were all there to support Nicole as the band.
It was a nice evening with a nice little crowd there to enjoy the set of original tunes.
This was a great beautiful evening...is this December?...it sure doesn't feel like it.
What a way to close out the year for this band...we sounded great!

Nicole Janson performed at Momo's Club on this wet, cold night.
Landis, Arturo, Trent and I were all there to support Nicole as the band.
There were a large group of people out at the club to our surprise considering the weather.
It was great having Nicole's parents here in town for this show.
Thanks to my great friend Jubal for running the sound board and making the band sound great.
This was a great show with many highlights in the one hour set.
Hopefully, Paul will invite Nicole back out to his wonderful club.
Nicole had a blast...she told me so...hehehe.

Nicole Janson performed this afternoon at the Palmer Auditorium for the Last Chance Christmas Sale Festival here in Austin.
Landis, Trent, Arturo and I were there to support Nicole as the band.
This was a short set of original tunes for a nice shopping crowd.
Thanks to my "homeboy" Scott Hartzog for making this happen.
We had a great time.
I even shopped and bought my share of stuff from Austin Natural Soap.

Nicole Janson performed this evening at Ego's on South Congress Ave. here in Austin.
Trent, Arturo, Landis and I were all there to support Nicole as her band.
This was the second outing for the band...and it all went so well...a great performance.
I am sure that Nicole had a blast...as well as did of all us boys.
The crowd was huge and the place was packed with very friendly folk all there listening to Nicole's music.
After the set, Nicole had to leave for a nother party...so, the rest of us boys got up on stage to play a set of covers.
We did this since the band, After 909, that was scheduled to follow Nicole did not show...they stood up their gig...hmmm?
Anyway, it was a blast!

Texas Saints rocked out this evening down in San Antonio at Wings to a nice crowd of crazies.
Mike Mulligan, Tim Neil and I were there to rock...and we did...
We rocked out three full sets of standard and cover blues rock.
This was a blast...I always enjoy drumming with Mike and Tim...too much fun.
I hope to do it again real soon.

Curtis Wayne performed this evening at the Sky Lounge on Congress Ave. here in downtown Austin.
This was a c.d. release party for Curtis' latest Nashville recording session.
Jason, Mark, Ron, Ray and I were all there to support Curtis as the band.
This was a great time for all of us.
A huge crowd came out to support the event.
...all of Curtis' family and friends...real cool.
I had a blast playing the keys...it has been a while since I
played the keys onstage.
Maybe Curtis will ask me to do it again real soon.

performed this evening at the Music Lab on Oltorf here in Austin for a video
shoot.
Rich Nordenberg, Stewart Cundley, Coy Fuller,

Chiclote and I were all there to support Daniel.
This evening was a
blast!
There were so many friends there to support Daniel and his band.
This footage
will be edited and aired on the Austin Music Network
in the near future.
Thanks to all that were there to help
out in the filming and staging...especially Tim
Gerron, the man pushing and pulling all those buttons on the sound board
making Daniel and the band sound great.

Room here in Austin.
Rick
Redfern, Mona Goldstein, Kaleb Smith and I were all there to rock out a full set
of original tunes to a huge loud crowd.
It was another
great evening.
There were many friends in the crowd...I
hope I chatted with them all.
Downforce and Big Nasty were also on the bill each rocking out their
own sets of tunes.
What can I say, this was great...good
times.

Delta Tau Delta sponsored
Christ Mass benefit show to feed the needy.
This was
also a post slaughter party of the Texas Longhorns ( 50 ) - Vs - Texas A & M
Aggies ( 20 ) Football Game that was earlier in the day here in Austin.
Jeff Davis, Todd Turner, Matt Fleming,
Jason Vopney, Rick Redfern and
I were all there to support Todd as his band.
The Blake Powers
Band opened the show with a great set of original / cover tunes.
Charlie Harrison took the stage
next singing a set of his original tunes.
Todd and the band then hit the stage to a huge, wild,
partying crowd to rock out for the rest of this crazy evening.
Fred Andrews of Honeybrowne, Blake
Powers, and the beautiful Fallon
Franklin all joined Todd onstage to sing
vocals on a few tunes.
This was another memorable
evening...to say the least.
I wonder how a few are
feeling after partying with such grandiose class.

the weekly Happy Hour(s) gig.
Jeff Davis, Matt Fleming,

Redfern and I were all there supporting Todd as
his band.
Charlie Harrison
was also there to lend his help on vocals on a few tunes.
This was a party...with a lot of beautiful ladies in the
house.
This night was a special event for Lisa Hines, who was celebrating her 27 birthday.
I personally was
very happy to see this gorgeous young lady turning a year older...I have known
her since she was a baby girl.
It was also nice seeing
so many friends in the crowd.
Truth or Fall
followed our set with a great set of original tunes.
Canvas, with my great friend Brad Byrom on bass, closed out this evening with a nice
acoustic set.
Overall, this was another memorable
evening...wow!

performed today at the first annual Hilly Chile Cook Off at the Riverplace.
Jeff Davis, Todd Turner, Matt Fleming, Jason Vopney,
Rick Redfern, and I were all there to support Todd as his Three Legged
Band.
This was a family event for all...and all of
the proceeds are going to charity...B.A.C.A. (Bikers Against Child Abuse).
Thanks to all that helped out in this event.

performed throughout the day.

Dan Sheridan
performed this early evening at The Sky Lounge on Congress Ave. here in Austin.
This was a nice event.
First there
was an acoustic performance from Sara Hamm and Chelle Murrey.
Each performed a
song by taking turns for a few rounds with Joe
helping Chelle out with his acoustic guitar.
Dan, Dave Wessellowski and I then hit the stage next to
perform a nice acoutsic set of original tunes.
This was
a nice sounding room as usual...I love the way my kit sounds there.
It was nice seeing a few other musicians in the crowd;Nicole Janson, Curtis Wayne just
to name a few.
This was only the start for me.
I then went further south, down Congress Ave., to do
another gig.
Casey Just performed later this evening at Trophy's.
This was a party!
Gary Feist and I were there to support Casey as his band.
We rocked a
full set of original tunes to a wild crazy crowd.
True Audio Odessey shared the bill as well as Stealing Silence.
Let me tell
you... this was a fabulous show!

his Three Legged Band performed this evening at Momo's Club for their Thursday Happy Hours.
Jeff Davis, Todd Turner, Rick Redfern,
Jason Vopney and I were all there to help Todd rock out for the evening.
This turned out to be a great night after a slow start.
There were many friends in the crowd.
We performed a solid two hours of originals and cover
versions of great country music legends.
This was
another great party...just wait until next week...el muy grande.

Casey Just
performed this evening down in San Antonio at Sam's Burger Joint for the Tourbaby.com tour.
Gary Feist and I were both there supporting Casey as his rhythm section.
This was a great evening meeting all kinds of great
people.
Though the drive down there was from hell...to
say the least, we put on a great show for the nice crowd that was there.
Structure was
a young band there that was performing as well...cool young guys...their father
put the show on in San Antonio...what a dad...cool!
Once
again it is a pleasure drumming with Casey and Gary.

each week gets better and better.

Rich Nordenberg, Stewart Cundley and I were all there to back Daniel as his band.
We
performed a full set of original tunes to a nice warm reception.
It was a great time jamming with these guys again...I love
Stewart's guitar playing.

closed out the evening there at Momo's Club to the last partiers of the
evening.

Dave Wessellowski and I were all there to support Dan as his band.
We performed a
nice set of original tunes.
It was a great time rocking
out with these great musicians once again.
It was great seeing so many friends out for the evening as
well; Nicole Janson, James Speer and many

What
can I say this evening was one to remember...three bands, one club, one
night!
...not too many can hang with that.

This evening was great!
We followed
Bob Schneider and Lonelyland...who always bring out a huge crowd.
Nicole and her boys performed a
full set of original tunes...then Nicole did a few
tunes solo...
it wasn't long that all the boys returned
to the stage to assist in closing out a great set of original tunes.
I really enjoyed drumming this evening with these great
musicians...I hope to do it again...real soon.

crowd.
There were a few friends in the house that made
it all a warm welcome.

Hendrix's Little
Wing.
This was the second gig for thisband and
it went off super well.
We were asked back to the Backroom for some future dates.
Look for this project to be playing again real soon.

Battling Breast Cancer Benefit.

There were many people in the crowd that seemed to enjoy
the show...I could hear the applause.
This was a great
day for a great cause.
There were so many other bands on
the bill.
This was a day for the ladies in the bands.
I was honored to be asked to jam with Mona and her boys..she holds it all together.

This evening was the first time I had ever met
Will Greene and John
Gravagno, but this did not stop us three from rocking out.

instrumnetal tunes to a nice quaint coffee house crowd at the infamous little
place known as The Spider
House near the university area.

Dan Sheridan performed this evening at Steve Styx's songwriters showcase at Austin Pizza Live here on
S. Lamar in Austin.
It was nice being in 78704 for the evening,
rocking for true Southern Austinites.
Landis Armstrong, Dave Wesselowski and I were there to support Dan as his band.
There was a
nice small crowd that was there to enjoy this concert.
This was a "Final" performance
for Dan before he leaves for Rochester, New
York...he boarded a plane the next day!
We all wish Dan the best in his new adventure.

Curtis
Wayne performed at the Texas Bar and Grill for their weekly open mic
night.
Jason Fritts, Ray Ayala and I were there to support Curtis.
The crowd was rowdy and
crazy!
Many drunks in the house...to say the least.
Nevertheless, we performed a short brief set of original
tunes.
We also threw out a cover of Led Zeppelin's "Ramble On" ...to my surprise...I did not even know
that this tune was in Curtis' repertoire!
Once again, I had a blast drumming with Curtis and the band.
Hopefully,
I will have the chance to do it again real soon.

Daniel Link performed this evening at MoMo's Club here on W. 6th St. in Austin.
This was a last minute gig for Daniel, subbing in for a few acts that cancelled their
scheduled show.
It turned out to be a great thing for Daniel.
Stewart Cundy, Rich
Nordenberg and I were all there to support Daniel as his band.
Cheri Chilcote and Chelle Murrey
were both on backing vocals keeping the visuals exciting for all.
It was a pleasure to jam with this great band once
again.
I enjoyed it...
Hopefully
in the future we can do it again.

Daniel Link performed this evening at The Sky Lounge
in celebration of his new c.d. release, "Ghost Stories".
I was called out to fill in for their regular drummer, Coy Fuller, a friend of mine from back home in
Beaumont.
Rich Nordenberg
was on the bass keeping the groove tight.
Stewart Cundy was on the guitar making beautiful
sounds, layers, chords, melodies...etc...
Cheri Chilcote was there to sing backing vocals and
shake her tambourine with sexy grace.
Chelle Murrey was also singing backup vocals with
great charm and beauty as she also played her acoustic guitar.
Daniel was playing the keys and
singing his butt off.
The crowd was huge and
responsive.
It was great rocking out a full two hour set
of original tunes.
Then the crowd wanted more...so, we
went back to the top of the set list and played the first three tunes that we
started the evening with.
It never hurts to play a song
again...especially when you have a screaming crowd!
This
turned out to be a great success for Daniel and the
band.
The after party was held at the Driskell Hotel where we all
partied until closing time.
A special thank you goes out
to Aloytia for the great conversation...I have a
great new friend!

WEEdEN performed this evening at the infamous Saxon Pub
here on South Lamar here in Austin.
Alex, Chris, Sam and I were all there to rock out a full hour and a
half set of original tunes to this great crowd!
This
evening was a relaxed, intimate setting of fun!
Honeybrowne closed out the show with a rocking set
of tunes.
It was great seeing so many of my friends out
for the evening.
A special shout goes out to John Ike Walton, the original 13th Floor Elevator's drummer, who was in town due to
the flooding going on here in Texas.
This evening was a
grand time...thanks to Richard, the great soundman
that he is, for giving us a great sound once again...and the chocolate was tasty
as well Richard.

appreciate it.
It really sucks not having a ride...but,

joined us onstage to sing along to "It's Alright".
Thanks to all the friends that were there in the crowd

This crowd, by the way, was
generous and responsive, which makes it a lot easier.
Deadman opened the show with Soulhat following us, closing out the show.

Corey Feldman
performed this evening at the Six of Clubs here in Austin!
The place was rocking and the crowd was crazy!
Once again, I joined the band when Corey took a break in the set to hit the green room for
wardrobe.
I joined my great buddy, Marc, up there on stage to jam out that groovey tune by
Bill Withers!
It's a
classic!
This was a great wild evening!
Everything was going great...great set...nice
time...brewing after party at my swimming pool!...etc....
Then!
...Corey's personal car gets towed by the neighboring club
owner!
So, we were ******!
This
is why we all were still awake trying to get them on the road at 5 am the next
morning!
We did get the car...Corey and I searched all night for this damb tow
yard...not even the cops know where the place is!
Crazy!
Nevertheless, all is
good...and Corey, Susie,
Marc, Pharaoh, Derek, Brian, Aranda, Samara and Mike were all back on the road again, heading to
Memphis.
I stayed behind...no thank you...enough is
enough...hahaha!

Corey Feldman
performed this evening in Dallas at the Galaxy Theatre.
Corey, Marc, Pharaoh, Derek, Brian, Aranda, Samara were all there to rock out!
I was there to hang with friends and to have a great
time...also, yea. to play the drums!
When Corey went to the green room in the middle of the set
for a break, Marc came out from behind the drums to
sing and play guitar to the grooving tune "Till You Use Me Up" by Bill Withers.
Drummerless, they
had a problem...so, I slipped into the "hot seat" and rocked out on the
drums!
It was great seeing my great friend Marc...we were college roommates at U.N.T. for 4 years...
It
was a blast getting up there to rock out to a huge crowd that was there to see
this "former child actor" touring to support his new album.
It was great joining Corey and
the band for four days across Texas.
Later this evening,
we had the honor of being invited to meet and hang out with Pantera at their infamous gentleman's club, The Clubhouse for a wild after party, to say the
least.

Kevin McKinney of the band Soulhat then hit the stage next with his solo
project.
Alex, Sam, Chris and I then hit
the stage.
We rocked out a great full set of original
tunes to a heart warming crowd...even though it was so late...we did have a nice
great crowd.

WEEdEN performed this afternoon in Southlake ,
Texas on a private ranch for the Texas Tech University's Red Raider Live.
There was a great crowd there that enjoyed this nice
beautiful day in the sun.
Alex, Sam, Chris and I were there to rock a 45 minute set of
original tunes to this all ages crowd.
There were many
bands performing throughout the day that included:Mark David Manders, Mo Robson Band, Hondo,
Wade Bowen & West 84, Ben Atkins Band, and Marshall Todd Barnes & Gringo, Texas.
It was great representing rock-n-roll, since all the other
bands were country...and we did represent by rocking!
This was a full day of drinking and eating.

Thanks to my great friend, Mike Orta, for letting me crash at his home for the
evening...the crawfish etoufe' was awesome and the migas were great!

Curtis Wayne
performed this evening in the "end zone" of the football field at the Tony Burger Center for the
American Cancer Society Relay for Life Benefit here
in Austin.
The sun was bright setting directly in front
of us as we rocked to a huge crowd of 500 or more.
Ron Horne, Rob Jewett, Jason Fritz and I were there to support Curtis as his band.
This
show was great...all, off the cuff...no rehearsals...wow!
I really enjoyed the little time that we had up there on
stage.

making this happen for us.
This was my first time to
perform with Curtis, and I had a blast...I look forward to
"knowing" the tunes much better next time...two days of cramming is tough...but
It's all good!
I love just doing it...
I have to admit, it did sound neat performing in a football
stadium...the reverberation was great!

WEEdEN performed two shows this afternoon here in
Austin.
Alex, Chris, Sam and I were there
to rock and roll.
The first show was broadcasted on the
air, live, via KOOP 91.7 FM
Radio.
Thanks to Andrew for showing us a great time in the D.J.
studio.
After a full hour of music and talk, we packed
up and went down south for the next gig.
Next, on
"stage" in the heat at Westgate's H.E.B. Central Market for the first
annual Austin Italian Chalk Art Festival.
We followed Michele Solberg, who put on
a great performance.
WEEdEN
then hit the "stage" to perform a full set of tunes for this all ages crowd.
Thanks to everyone who put on this charity event.
The food was excellent!

level.

Three Legged Band closed out the evening with a rocking set of standard and
original Pure Texas Music.
All I can say is that this
evening was one to remember.

Legged Band peformed this evening for an un-official SXSW showcase at the Coppertank.
Todd Turner, Jaff Davis, Mark McCommas, and I were there to back up Todd for the evening.
We kicked
off the night around 8:30 pm to a great size crowd.
Seth James and his two fellow musicians hit the
stage next as a trio to rock out a great set of powerful rock and blues.
Dash
Rip Rock followed with their New Orleans version of rock!...and what a
show that is to see.
Cory Morrow closed
out the eveving with a great set of originals and country standards to a huge
loud partying crowd.
This was one of the best nights
ever...a great time!
